    Hi, have a few Byzantine nummi scyphati to identify and just don't know where to start as I've never tried ID-ing these before, and haven't a clue what to look for. Thanks for any help!

    AV: Virgin standig on dias, hold infant Cristus
    RV: Christus on right, crowns the emporer
    Sear 1985, DOC 3b

    2. billion aspron trachy
    Manuel I. 1143 - 1180 mint Constantinopel
    AV Virgin enthroned
    RV Manuel wearing chlamys, holding globus surmounted by patriarchal cross
    probably 2. indiction = 1143 - 1180
    Sear 1964

    3. billion aspron trachy
    Manuel I. 1143 - 1180 mint Constantinopel
    AV Christus on throne without back
    RV: Manuel wearing Loros, Virgin bless the ruler
    Sear 1966

    The three coins are common.
