    Byzantine unidentified...

    Hi all,

This one is a big question mark for me
    -22mm diameter
    -4.82g
    -die alignment - about 7
-Bronze but has some silvering (or coating of another material?)
-Obverse: The Virgin Mary with hands raised, the infant Christ facing "MP-OV"
-Reverse: 1/2 view of St. Demetrius of Thessalonika standing, facing, his right hand raised, his left hand holding a globe. "DH..."

Doesn't seem to be a coin type I am familar with, token of some type, Bulla of some type?

    Any idea?

    Regards, Andrew

No, on the back is not a saint, but the ruler is shown. He holds his arm down. With his hand he holds a labarum. The false impression created by the remains of a older coin stamped on.
    Regards,
    Trub
