Soft from wear/cleaning or something else?

Does this coin look too "soft" to others as well? Weight 7.74 gm, which is on par with an example of this die pairing in my collection (see here: http://www.ancients.info/gallery/sho...php/photo/2391). I'm just wondering if the general "softness" is secondary to heavy wear and cleaning or something more worrisome.
