Baltimore show

Anybody going to the Baltimore show on Friday and wanting to talk coins over dinner, meet just inside the bourse entrance, in front of the show announcement table, at 6:30. I'll be there with a dealer buddy I'm driving down with. The food court at the Inner Harbor is about a block and a half away. Quick, cheap, tasty, nutritious meal <g>. And a chance to show off new purchases and talk shop. Dealers are welcomed too. The Baltimore show is much bigger than the New York or Chicago Int'ls, though not as big for ancients, but a fair number of dealers specializing in ancients have tables off to the right. Worth the trip if you're within driving distance, including the New York City area. Biggest national coin show on the East Coast each year, three times a year now. More here:

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll be there but not on Friday. I have dinner plans at home that night. Will be there Saturday though.

See you there. I'll probably be the only one there with a 1-year old.

Missed you. I left the post way too late, late Thursday night to meet Friday for dinner. I had a good show, despite there being fewer ancients dealers set up at tables than usual.

Picked up a pretty sweet Constantius Gallus as Caesar AE2 Fel Temp (Spearing Falling Horseman Type) for $5.00 in a "junk box". It is Constantinople 107 rated C3. It's in rather good shape. Easily worth the 5 bucks to me. Will post a pic of it soon.

Also pulled a Severus II from the box and advised the dealer he may want to sell that one separate . Would have stayed longer but the kid was not cooperating lol.

Ok, here it is. It is better in-hand. The patina is a very nice and smooth green when looking at it in-hand. It stuck out like a sore thumb in that junk box.
