What a movie this "coin" book would make!

Even though we are collectors of ancient coins, one modern coin, the 1933 US Double Eagle, has all the elements and lore of the past.
Alison Frankel, a legal journalist, has written a fascinating account of the one of the world's most sought after coin in her book;

"Double Eagle: The Epic Story of the World's Most Valuable Coin"
...Stolen from the US Mint, shipped to Egypt, hidden for forty years,
seized in a Secret Service sting, and finally sold in a record-setting auction..."

Ever coin collector should read this book! It even has a "surprise" ending and will give insight to our own mania for "that" coin we must have!

I got my copy from the library, but Amazon probably stocks it and has a better review.
